Daz + membership issue

Why do they make these things so complicated? I bought more than one years Daz + subscribtion I think when it was on a really good sale, I didn't authorize paypal for a subsription as in I didn't fill in anything like I want this to be a subscription. NOPE. I just used paypal to pay w as I always do. Now, when it expires on Monday, I get: we will automatically renew for you, when the f...k that I say that I wanted that? I will renew at once, but I want to do it by my self, maybe I can manange without a membership until a membership sale comes along, shopping at Daz taught me never to buy anything for full price. So I chose cancel subcription. I get mail: you need to cancel you paypal subscription also, ok, so I need to cancel the subscripton I NEVER got?? I go to paypal but nowhere is there anything about a Daz subscription, after many tires and googling I find a page on paypal about that I can have subscriptions if I want, and suggestions about possible businesses to have subscripitons at, does not mention Daz. No list of subcription no nothing. And yet Daz tells me that I need to cancel or I will have 2 subcritions when i renew, if a membership sales comes along like I need it to before Monday I can't buy one as I will then have two bills due at paypal for 2 subcriptions, that I still don't want. So I need to hope that no such sale comes along until after Monday. And I still worry a lot that I will be billed still fr paypal for a membership that I didn't cancel for a year or whatever. And no way of finding out for sure if I have one at Daz or paypal. Thanks a lot, this makes me really love Daz 3D, I remember the same confusion and worry the last time I bought a years membership. I want: to be able to buy just a year or 3 months, without the subscription bullshit. Is that not possible? You got me totally hocked as a Daz + member, if not a sale comes along in a day or 2 after Monday I will buy for full price. BUT I want to make the desiscion my self. Please if anyone can help me w this I would be really grateful. I'm in a crisis emotionally and struggle each day to go on, Daz is my most important joy of life, that makes me go on living, I don't need to worry about these things, about being billed twice, I really don't need it. Thanks in advance if you can help me w this! 
To be clear I want to know how I cancel a subcription at Paypal for daz + that I can't find anything about at Paypal, how do I cancel a subscripton at paypal when it does not say subsriptions for daz + anywhere at all? how can I be sure that I won't be billed for 2 subcriptions? how do I do? I googled but the buttons/menues they say I should click on at paypal simply isn't there at my paypal page. Misson impossible.

You would find it under Settings -- Payments -- Manage Automatic Payments. On paypal's website.
Edited to add: It also might just say "daz3d" under the list of automatic payments. I don't think it specifies PC+ or DAZ+ on Paypal's end. I'm not 100% sure since i never used Paypal to pay for that particular membership.

, I do not have such a menu/button, on my paypal page, I looked really carefully, no such page. No such menu. No way of cancel the subcription I am not even sure I have. No way. Sorry, this is really frustrating.
Perhaps images will help. Does your Paypal look like this? I'm using Chrome, if that matters.

I just got a coupon for 30% off the annual membership, which is awesome, exept for: I don't know when it expires, and if I use it before my current expires on Monday I might be billed for 2 subscription fr paypal, according to Daz. So please let me know if I dare use this coupon, when it expires, and a way to find a menu item at Paypal that's not there. I can't cancel at paypal if I can't find the place to do it, It's like Kafka's the trial or something. Feels like it. I get a coupon, GREAT, but do I dare use it? do I dare wait and risk miss the coupon? do I dare use it and then have the worry about pay for it twice? I just want to shop here and be loyal and buy another membership, can I just be allowed to do that without this confusion? If there is no subscripion notes about this at paypal I can't have one, but why do they tell me that I have one, Daz I mean, why tell me to cancel a subsription if I don' have one at paypal?

I managed to find the place, it's in my lanaguage Swedish, so it's a bit different, but I think it's the right place, and under Manage automatic payments I have only info on how to have subcriptions by using paypal and a list, in the place you show it says only: Suggested dealers /shops or what ever is the English name for it, where you have the list I have: suggested dealers, and a list of places I could subscribe at but I don't, like Spotify, no suggestion of Daz 3D, not even that. The other side of the page looks like your screen, same picks, same meaning of the words I think, so I'm sure I am at the right page, but NO subscripton at all, no list, nothing to cancel. As I don't have that list, only suggestions, can I be sure that I have no such subscription? it said subscription at the Daz + Daz page until I canceled. This is making me really worried and frustrated and anxious. If I trust Daz, what they say, there is now way in hell that I don't have a subscription to cancel, but I still don't have that list, so what do I do? I think you can. If you look under the dot that says "show inactive" if it lists DAZ3d there, then you can tell for sure that it's been cancelled on Paypal's end. And I'm glad to help out.
Could be that you received from Daz3D what is called a "form letter" - i.e. they give the same letter to everybody. Every now and then somebody does cancel their subscription on Daz3D but they forget to cancel it on PayPal and then they get mad when PayPal charges them again.
As far as I know [AFAIK] you can use your coupon to purchase more subscription time. Then sign out, sign in, go to your account page; go to your membership page and make sure that the box for renewal is still 'unchecked.' As far as Daz3D charging for memberships, it's usually a few days ahead of the actual cut off date. And then if you are still paying for this with PayPal, go through all the steps mentioned in previous posts and make sure that PayPal does not have a subscription charge listed for Daz3D.
Just wrote a looong reply to this, very detailed, and when I try to post it Daz decides to have a forum bug and the damn thing is gone forever, before at times when I decide not to post a reply it remains at the box forever when I try to post other stuff. Now when I need it to save the reoly I wrote it's gone, This gets better and better, thanks Daz. Will write it all over again in a while.
Yeah, happens quite a lot it seems. Like many, have developed a habit of writing in Notepad first, then copy/pasting long replies. Doesn't fray the nerves that way.
@ tombraider4ever... Just out of curiosity, are you doing this on a mobile device like a tablet, or on a desktop/laptop? I remember a short while ago having an issue with PayPal having a slightly stupider interface on iPad and when I looked on my laptop I found the option right away... sometimes websites really suck for use on mobile devices.

I have this instead of what you have in your screenshots, the automatic payment section, see attached, for some reason the pick I tried to show directly here in the text won't show up :(, not even the sad smiley I tried to add worked :(. Anyway as you see in the attached I don't have automatic payments show active/inactive, I have just, translated fr Swedish: suggested dealers, no active or inactive at all, so be the look of this I have NEVER had a subscription at Daz or anywhere at all, and I have been a Daz+ member for years, always paid w paypal. My boyfriend looked at his paypal, he has some subscription, and he as what you showed in the screenshot, in Swedish. Could the difference be that I don't have a credit card attached to my paypal? I have been the victim of credit card fraud twice, so since then I have promised my self never to have my credit card nr online, a promise that I have kept, I don't even trust it at Paypal, have heard of people had their credit card hacked there also. Could that be the difference? my boyfriend thinks he has as credit card nr attached, and his page looks like yours. I would be so graterful if this can be confirmed somehow, that a daz + membership is never a subscription fr paypal's side if there is no credit card nr. This makes me very anxious, it should be enough for me that I don't even have Daz 3D listed as a suggested dealer for automatic payments, but it isn't as it could be a paypal bug and since Daz don't mention this, they don't say: if you have no credit card nr attached you don't need to bother w cancelling on the the paypal side. So I still want this answered from someone, but I am very grateful that you tried to help me, so very kind

And another thing: you all might think that I am very hard on Daz, but that is because of my work w Daz studio, my work w my personal daz Lara model is what saves my life every single day by distracting me from my emotional issues, very bad mental emotional issues, have had it all my life, prevents me fr working, gets worse for each day. My work w my Lara saves me, she lifts me from my missery and gives me joy even, helps me stand being alive. So, basically Daz Studio saves me, because I shop like 99.9% of my 3d models here, I use only Daz Studio, and I made my Lara model all inside Daz using morphs. If I didn't care I would just think, well, f....k it, you had your chance, now I'm off buying somewhere else, but there is not other store for me. What's wrong w the other stores? they are not Daz 3D
, as simple as that. I want my daily dose of Daz sales and my yearly dose of March Madness, pc + sale, ect. So I desparately need my dealings w Daz to funtion properly. Just though I explain my self and why this is upsetting me so much, I need to extend my Daz + membership, would prefer to be able to use the 30% off coupon I did get, without worrying over being billed twice, as I can't work my income is tiny. I only use paypal on my pc, chrome, so that can't be the problem.
I got the same email from DAZ several days ago about having to cancel automatic renewals on PayPal so I checked and also, like you, could find nothing about DAZ on there. I was worried that it would automatically renew and I had planned to cancel as I'm having a lot of issues with my computer and wanted to wait until things improve. Anyway, to make a long story short, nothing has shown up on PayPal and my subscription was cancelled by DAZ.

So the same thing happened to you, you had no info about daz subscription on papypal, the subscription expired and nothing happened?
I don't think it has anything to do with having a credit card attached to your paypal account. I don't have one attached to my paypal either. It sounds to me that daz just sent out a form letter. If there is no indication on your paypal of any subscription/automatic payment to daz, then I wouldn't worry about it.
Yes, that's correct. It was automatically cancelled and I no longer have access to the Platinum Club forum or the Wednesday goodies. I was concerned as you are so I hope this might reasurre you that the email we both got is a standard one sent out to all.

But this thread left me with one question: My Daz+ expires in Sept '22... If I see a good deal now (like the 30% off coupon), will that extend it by a year, or will it start a new year rn?
Your purchase extends it by a year. So, your membership won't expire until 22 September 2023
