Live Preview Rendering in 4.8??

Hi All,

Just heard about Live Preview Rendering as a feature in 4.7 but even though I can find the same Alternate Viewport and buttons in 4.8 it doesn't appear that they are active.

??

Am I missing something or is Live Preview Rendering not available yet in the 4.8 BETA?

    if memory serves, the option is in the drop down list for the viewport where you normally select a camera.

    I know longer have it installed so i dont recall clearly but its in the viewport area

    or at least it is if its iray. Not sure about the 4.7 version of live preview. thought it was a seperate tab.

    For Iray you need to set the drawstyle to Iray, using the sphere icon next to the button for picking the camera. The Draw Settings pane is sued to adjust the way the preview is generated. Unless you have a very good video card it probably won't be fully live, but on most systems it should update pretty quickly for a small pane.
