IRAY HDRi Colour cast

When using and HDRi environment file I seem to be getting odd colour casts to the HDRi image in the render subject to its orientation.

Not specifically to the cube environment, but more obviously so, the different facets have a distinct colour cast to each face. This also happens with the sphere environment but the colours blend more.

What am I missing/doing wrong? Has anyone else notice this phenomena?

I look forward to your comments.

Yes, I have. Specifically a yellow cast to the dome and a green cast to the ground (sunlight and grass?).

I believe that Spooky has suggested this might be... inaccurate, and asked someone to submit a report on it in another thread.

    Herewith an example.

The original HDRi is pretty much monchrome in this image, as evident in the reflections, and yet produces this green cast at this position,

I coloured the assets within the image to use the green cast to my advantage, but it would have been a pain if I hadn't had that flexibility.

I may have found the solution.

I am trying another render but it looks like it is the HDRi image scale setting that mucks things up. I noted the render above had an image scale of 100 (i don't know why). I just rest it to 1 and it looks OK..

Do you have "Visualize Finite Dome" turned on?

Look at the example here. As Snow Sultan said, “Visualize Finite Dome” will do that.

    Ahh, didn't spot that one.

Based on the above I now don't know if it was down to the image scale or Visualise Finite Dome.

    Another render needed methinks.
