Ahh...ok.  Have to see if I can come up with a work-around.

    Thanks!

Fit control is a script that applies morphs corresponding to a figure to things fit to said figure. By its nature, it cannot work on figures other than the ones for which the morphs were sculpted; that's why there's one for G3F, one for G2F and Genesis feminine morphs, etc. You could fit the dress to Genesis or G2F and run the script to have the morphs applied and then fit it to V4, but I don't know how useful you would find that (I don't work with V4, but I suspect the answer would be "not much").

  • Hi,

First let me say I love this product.  I do have on question though.  Is it possible to use this in Carrara?  If so, how?  The folder appears in the content list but is is empty.  Could I be doing something wrong?  I did notice the some of your other tools will work in Carrara.

I cannot answer that because I do not have Carrara Installed.

No worries.  I'll figure something out.  Thanks for the quick answer though.

Dyin over here. I've used this a good number of times without issue. Suddenly got quirky, not sure where I or it are going wrong. I select the figure, double click Fit Control, pointer changes to hour glass so it seems like it's loading, but never get the pop up to select which piece of clothing. All that happens is after thirty or more seconds the cursor turns back to normal and ... that's it, nuttin. I've deleted clothing items and re-added them, tried running versions that aren’t for G8 and it appropriately tells me to select a male, select a G3 etc. I’m stuck.

... lmao, ignore me. After posting I went to get a bottle of water, came back, sat down, and about a minute later the prompt popped up. Now I can't tell ya why it took some five to ten minutes but it got there! Not a lot of clothing on the character which still leaves me confused but I’m good with it!

Are you running the script on an existing scene where Fit Control was previously applied before the script interface version? Do you get the same issue on a brand new scene with clothes added without Fit Control being previously applied before?

  • Hi. I have very unpleasant feature while using fit control. Once I add Fit control to some clothing, my Daz files become extremely huge. It takes 4-5 minutes just to save it. And daz files become 10 times bigger. Is there any way to fix it?

I can't really delete those morphs. The size remains the same. Even if I delete morphed clothes.

The only solution - to delete all hair, eyebrows and lashes.

What it does is remove the unused Fit Control morphs. So e.g. if you applied Fit Control to a dress, you select the dress and use that option to remove the unused FC morphs.

The problem is that when I apply Fit Control morps to a certain clothing, it applies somwhere else. And even when I delete morphed clothing, the size remains the same.
