So Valentine's Day is all about sexy lingerie. Again.

And it's really special, because we don't have sexy female everything coming out of the wazoo every normal day anyway. Is including a male stripper outfit is a progress?

They have totally forgotten the reason for the season! Where are the decapitated heads and excoriations to piety?

I hope you have some snake-related products ready for St. Patrick's Day.

Are you refering to the romantic origins of this cardboard, satin, lace, and confectionary day? Oh so, I believe you are! wink

" A popularly ascribed hagiographical identity appears in the Nuremberg Chronicle (1493). Alongside a woodcut portrait of Valentine, the text states that he was a Roman priest martyred during the reign of Claudius Gothicus. He was arrested and imprisoned upon being caught marrying Christian couples and otherwise aiding Christians who were at the time being persecuted by Claudius in Rome. Helping Christians at this time was considered a crime. Claudius took a liking to this prisoner. However, when Valentinus tried to convert the Emperor, he was condemned to death. He was beaten with clubs and stones; when that failed to kill him, he was beheaded outside the Flaminian Gate. Various dates are given for the martyrdom or martyrdoms: 269, 270, or 273.[31] "

$11 for a boxer, $7 for a panty. Seems kinda weird.

  • More expensive vertices and even more facets. How could boxers be the same price?

And even setting the raw geometry aside, the boxers will require more weightmapping.

I could totally do with some decapitated heads and assorted severed body parts.

I'm tempted to buy the male stripper set, just so I can objectify men a little better. Where are the nipple rings though?

When I was a kid, Valentines was about love.

As an adult. It's naughty lingerie, and things you wouldn't bring up in conversation with your Granny... Or Mum... maybe (i.e. "adult toys").

I know what bloomers are (or at least I did when I was a child) but what are pull-ups? Aren't all pants pull-ups? Maybe this is American English again?

I think she might be talking about adult diapers.

Pull ups are nappies (diapers to Americans) aimed at toddlers that are toilet training. They were basically a cross between a nappy and a pair of pants and could be pulled up (or down I assume) by the wearer, hence the name pull ups. They were definitely marketed in England at some point.

Ah thanks. We tried to stay with Terry Towel nappies for our kids (seemed more eco-friendly) but have to admit that we had a stock of padded disposables just for times when the Terry was simply too inconvenient.

Those things and love pretty much go hand in hand in my world. I have bought my GF some form of lingerie the past 5 valentines (she usually picks it out though)

A name brand would be something like depends ,

Why we need them at Daz.  Well, every time Mabel gets to drinking and then smoking her cigarettes she gets coughing and then has accidents in her house dress and in any chair she sitting in.  Yea she needs pull ups

    Valentine's Day -> Lingerie -> Diapers

Maybe that can be next year's theme?

Isn't that the normal chain of events wink

I fail to see the problem. There hasn't been much skimpwear the past few years anyway. Yes, some, but much, much, less than the choice we had in the V4/Genesis/Genesis2 periods. I'm always appreciative of a bigger selection of skimpwear, even if some of it might not suit my personal preference, it's always good to have options.

I've been saying for years we need more male clothing but, stripper clothes? Not exactly what I meant. lol

I thought Valentine's Day was all about using chocolate and flowers to disguise one's scent and avoid being hunted by a mutant homicidal flying infant who shoots people with Oxytocin* laced arrows.

*Oxytocin- the neuropeptide love hormone, not OxyContin the opioid pain med... thats a different flying mutant.
