Emmissive Fire on Flyer Eagle

https://www.daz3d.com/flyer-eagle

This Flyer Eagle fire jets, when turned on, are barely visible in my render (first image):

But when I apply an emmissive shader it causes the fire to look like rectangular blocks, which is not good (second image).

Is there some way to increase the brightness of the fire on the jets, like that shown in the promo image (third image)?

  • CTRL click on the emmissive shader so that the opacity maps don't get removed. Then adjust the brightness to your taste.

Thank you! I tried that but is there any way to prevent it from overpowering the jet's details? I set luminance down to 100. Is that what you mean by brightness?

Yes adjusting the luminance will make it brighter or dimmer. I would guess that adjusting the tone mapping would keep the engine jets from overpowering the ship's details. But that's a matter of tweaking to taste.
