Weird overexposed render after changing.... nothing

After enabling Render Settings panel with the Tool Bar button Daz3D Studio seems to add to the Scene outliner two objects: Tonemapper Options and Environment Options. I was even unable to get a reasonable rendering time DAZ3D seemed to prepare to take infinite time to render just a face at 5000 samples. Therefore I lowered the samples to 100, just for the sake of testing.

At first I got the white overexposed face (see the Photo link below) therefore I tried to tune some basic values like Environment color obtaining no visible results. I tried to apply presets but apparently nothing changed except for the output frame dimensions.

To get the blue image I set Sun-Sky Only as the Environment Mode value. I guess it is a problem with light energy. It is too much but I have no clue of how to fix it.

I was not happy with the default render result even if there were something viewable at least. So, I clicked the Render Settings Tool Bar button to enable the related panel. It automatically adds Environment Options and Tonemapper Options to the Scene outliner panel on the top right corner of the window. At first I wasn't even able to get an appreciable rendering in a reasonable time. Passed 1 minute, computer fan was running madly and I can't see anything, and the progress bar of the process indicated 0%. I fixed this by lowering the samples from 5000 to 100, just for the sake of testing... Just to get the white "super" exposed image (see Google Photo link below). Therefore I tried to set Environment Mode to Sun-Sky Only and got the blue image.

What should I do to get a normal image?

Start with default settings and change only "Exposure Value" in Tone Mapper settings.

    Search the internet for:

    daz environment tutorial

    daz render setting tutorial
