Toon Generation 3 versus 8

I am thinking about purchasing the Toon Generations Mega-Bundle for Genesis 8 Male(s) and Female(s). I recall that there was a package for Genesis 3 but I cannot find it. My question: is there any reason to buy the Genesis 3 package over the Genesis 8 package?

Also, are there more add-ons for Genesis 3 than Genesis 8?

Also, there is an 8.1 version. What is the difference and do I want to purchase that package?

Also, are the two series compatible?

Careful, there are 2 mega bundles for Genesis 8: Toon Generations 4 Mega-Bundle for Genesis 8 and Toon Generations Mega-Bundle for Genesis 8 Male(s) and Female(s). There is one for Genesis 3: Toon Generations 2 Mega Bundle for Genesis 3 Female(s) and Male(s)

All have different characters, clothing and hair. Some have props. Being Genesis 3 or 8-based, clothing should auto-follow like any other characters.
