How do you restore the status bar?

When you enable mesh smoothing, you can see the little progress bar in the status bar. The problem is my status bar is completely gone, so I can't see the progress bar move for the mesh smoothing modifier. I somehow undocked it accidentally and can't bring it back.

How do you restore the status bar, so you can see the mesh smoothing progress bar, while it does its iterations?

    R-Click in the lower right hand corner of your Daz Studio desktop and a menu will pop-up with the options

    If you have a Toolbar open, right-click on it and you should be able to enable the Status Bar. If not, Window>Worskpace>Customise, in the Toolbars tab right-click on any toolbar to enable it in the current activity, then you can exit the dialogue and right-click on the tolbar to get the Status bar back. I don't think there is a separate control.

    on a slightly off topic but related topic

    how do you restore an accidently deleted parameter in edit mode?

    I lost lock distance from smoothing that way and it never returned multiple studio updates until one day I had to uninstall and reinstall D|S from scratch

    no deleting my application data preferences didn't fix it either, it was just gone

    Even with the Status Bar field enabled, the status bar doesn't show up. The problem is I undocked it somehow and now it's just gone.

    I literally did exactly what you guys said, right click a toolbar, I see the Status Bar checkbox, and I made sure it's checked, but still no status bar anywhere.

    Which property is that? Usually I'd expect reinstaling the content to fix the issue.

    Do you know how I can just reset my workspace back to default?

    Sometimes the Status Bar will show up, it's undocked.  I can drag it around, but I can't dock it anywhere? When I right click on it, nothing happens?

    Window>Workspace>Select Layout will do a ful reset, you could also try Window>Workspace>Customise, click the Import button, and select Toolbars.
