    I believe "Hob" means "home"

A hob is a type of small mythological household spirit found in the north and midlands of England, but especially on the Anglo-Scottish border, according to traditional folklore of those regions. They could live inside the house or outdoors. They are said to work in farmyards and thus could be helpful, however if offended they could become nuisances.

The COD says hob is perhaps a diminutive of Robin, like Rob. So perhaps hobgoblin has some tenuous ling to Robin Goodfellow.

My research on "Hob" was for goblins, but I thought it would transfer nicely to the troll as well, to play around with its domestic nature....and also a play on how it was loosely inspired by the "hobbit" movie ;)

Hobgoblins seem to be small, hairy little men who—like their close relative, brownies—are often found within human dwellings, doing odd jobs around the house while the family is lost in sleep. Such chores are typically small deeds, like dusting and ironing. Often, the only compensation necessary in return for these is food. Attempts to give them clothing will often banish them forever, though whether they take offense to such gifts or are simply too proud to work in new clothes differs from teller to teller. It is possible that the "hob" in their name comes from the hob, a part of the hearth meant for holding food or utensils.

In a kitchen the hob is a projection, shelf, grate or bench for holding food or utensils at the back or side of a hearth (fireplace) to keep them warm, or an internal chimney-corner.

There is nothing in the set to convert to g2f...but maybe some morph transfer tools could do something *shrug*

If you have GenX, you can transfer morphs between G2F & G2M. If you want to use Hob's textures, it might be easier to GenX some of the G2F morphs (like breasts) to G2M, and see what happens.

I discovered that his skin will load onto G2F just fine, so even if you don't convert any morphs, you can get some nice results with dial spinning. I'm not at my computer atm, or I could post a render. This is a really, really nice figure.

"soon" is such a relative concept

nothing currently on the schedule....unless inspiration hits and shakes things up
