Ho to clear all surface settings (DS 4.7)

Hello,

at the moment I add a cube to the scene (Create -> Primitive -> Cube), activate the surface tab and execute "Copy selected surface".
Than I activate the destination object and execute "Paste to selected surfaces". After that all surface settings are removed.

I assume there's a direct way to do this, but I'm not able to find it.

Any hint is wellcome.

Select the cube's default surface and save as a Shader preset. Now you just need to select the figure/object and its surfaces and use the preset.

I am so glad I seen this thread. I did what both of you mentioned and created the cube and then saved it's surface as a shader and it works! Now I can wipe the surfaces off of things I want to re-texture.

To make your new surface preset easier to use, instead of having to hunt around for it each time you need it, find it in your content library then right click on it and select 'create custom action'. It should show up in your script menu for easy access. (It always has for me in any version of Studio I've used it)

If it doesn't show up in a/your script menu, F3 to get the customize window and you will find it under 'actions' on the left. Simply drag it to the menu you want on the right.
