Hi,
I'm tempted to upgrade Daz Studio to 4.20, however I still have one question: with the new Volumetric Rendering, can I create animation of an explosion or a cloud within daz studio? I can use other tools like blender etc..., but can I still render the animation in Daz Studio with iray?
Thank you very much,
Best regards,
Minh

As far as I can tell using a sequence of VDBs is not currently supported. Materials ettings can be animated using various scripts, though not through the base application alone
Thanks. I really hope a PA will create a product for this, or at least a tutorial. On the promotion page of the volumetric rendering, Daz's showing 2 animations though...
It's not ideal, but you could render it out frame-by-frame and replace the VDB for each frame.
I would think that was how the video was done, it is probably scriptable given a folder full of sequentially-named VDB files.
