SiteJabber???

1st notice I received something for feedback on an order I made, fine. {good feedback}
Then I receive a follow-up notice on the same order - which expected me to sign up in order 'to post' my comment??? Backed off the page and - even though I had NEVER subscribed to sitejabber, I clicked the unsubscribe.
Not sure what changes are going on here but honestly, if/when there is a problem with an order, I will submit a CS ticket as is the custom.
Somehow I would think if indeed Daz3D has partnered with SiteJabber to send multiple emails per order to their customers, just maybe said notice should be coming from Daz3D, not SiteJabber {which I've never heard of before}.
Thank you.

doesn't sound good
There seem to be a lot of relatively recent 'verified purchases' on that site for daz3d.com which makes me inclined to believe that daz has partnered with them. However the general consensus for sitejabber is quite low, looking at other review sites and forums which would make me question them.
If in doubt, leave well alone.
It isn't intended for review or support, it's more for customer feedback as I understand it. If you need support that should still go via a ticket.
I see the opt-in on every order.
I've only done it once.
It's never opted me in on it's own.I had to click the button to "leave feedback".
I just had a look at some of the reviews.Entertaining read a few of them lol.
Most of the negative reviews are people complaining that everything on the site isn't free and a few seem to be wanting Daz to pay them to take one of everything from the store. It's obvious the reviewers ahve never priced 3D content from any other site.Or they would know it's common for unrigged obj's to go for upwards of $100 with no materials.
Others are complaining they aren't getting refunded.Sales on digital goods are normally non-refundable.Daz has the only return policy of it type that I know of.So this is most likely someone, actually several, caught abusing the return policy.
Some are having user issues. Can't get something to work.Didn't know how something worked and didn't like the answer they got when told how it worked.Dosen't understand what the log file is saying , so thinks every word in it is a dire warning of impending doom.
One reviewer is certain that Studio is for "cheating at roblox".I hope this one isn't serious :(
Out of curiosity, did you get an email from SiteJabber, or an email from Daz that linked to SiteJabber? I would imagine the latter as the Daz privacy policy says they don't give your details to third-parties except as required by law. I like that, it's what they should all say!
But I have never been asked for feedback I don't think? I would love to give feedback, there are some great products, but only on the Daz site where people will find it.
Well, good to know what's connected to that "We'd like to know how your order went" checkbox (or whatever it actually says)... I noticed it a couple of weeks ago and was thinking about checking it because I don't mind helping out DAZ with surveys... but SiteJabber... yeah, no.
Oh, it's on the order confirmation page! I never read that. Likewise. Happy to help with surveys but not like that...
They're jabbing children. It was just a matter of time before sites got jabbed.
I received one of these emails yesterday, though I never opted in (and didn't even notice this option before). I opened a ticket and told Daz that I object to my data being passed on to any third party without my consent. Maybe I opted in accidentally, but now I'm hesitating so send my next order.
I don't know this SiteJabber, but from what I learned here, it is not the most popular company...
As far as I know no personal data is sent without your choosing to send it by following the link.
Which link do you mean? I didn't see any...
The give feedback link on the order confirmation page, I thought that was the topic of discussion.
Ah, thank you!
The give feedback link on the order confirmation page is one item. I've used that a couple of times so far. The "SiteJabber" email was something else all together.
Daz has one of the very best privacy policies I have ever seen. Simple and private! I wish more organisations said something like...
Daz 3D does not share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law
https://www.daz3d.com/privacy-policy
I don't think Daz would be handing out anyone's data directly.
Maybe but somebody has been. They were seeking feedback and knew what I had ordered.
