How do you save a change in Material zone?

I'm in Daz Studio 4.7.0.12 and I'm trying figure out how to do this. I have a G2F figure and I have created a material zone around the eyes that I call Eyeliner. This isn't a part of the standard G2F material zones but I want to have access to it on other figures. How do I save the change in material zones without changing the base G2F Figure so that I can apply it to other figures later on. It doesn't save as a material preset, and I didn't see any option to save it as a properties preset, or maybe I'm missing something?

Either save a Scene Subset with the modified figure, or save a Character Preset.

I didn't think of the Character Preset. I'll give that a try. Thanks!

    As a supplemental explanation,
Saving Character preset can work when you load the (which have changed geometry and saved) figure.

We can not apply the character preset to default gen2 Actors (or gen) which have loaded in the scene.
it can not change geometry group. usually only apply shape if you have changed matzone grouping.

Yes, the only thing that I changed was added a material zone around the eyes for the Anime styled figure. It helps out a lot when You're trying to do a black and white render I just change the material on the eyeliner to black and when I convert the image to black and white, the outline of the eyes remains consistent. As long as I can save a G2F and G2M with those presets, then I can always load them, shape them and save them as a scene subset to reuse later. I figured out the method while I was working on some figure studies with Keiko 6/Aiko 6

I was doing this one, and I was really happy with how it came out, except for the way I lost the firm black outline of the eyes. Since I was looking for a Manga style look, it was crucial not to lose that detail. Last night I worked out that you could add a material zone for the eyes that I called Eyeliner. I'm going to re-render the picture tonight and try it again.
