    Very interesting indeed!  Thanks Phil!  I had a old script with Greasemonkey that I used before but broke after the great Daz site reformat (when they made the images too big for tablet use etc).  GREAT to see an alternative.  Actually, these scripts are better than the old one I used.

    I also didn't know about his graphic novels.  I might pick one up.  Always interested to see what other authors are doing.

    Yes it is the same basic theory.  Rough shape then vertex massage it onto the model.  The tools are the same, even if in a different locations.  But there are much better video tutorials in the Daz store for specifically modeling with Carrara.

    Works fine just have to play with the shaders a little bit. Used it in a few Carrara challenges.

    Okay, thanks.  I've got over half of Faveral's 74 products here at DAZ, all good stuff.  I happen to be working on a pirate themed animation for a contest, hoping it would go on sale before the deadline.  It did.  yes

    I think you mean Faveral's "Medieval Tavern"?  (Also 70% off)  I almost bought it until I checked my collection and realized I have a very good medieval tavern from Renderosity (ironically titled "Fantasy Tavern").  So many toys, so little time  ...

    While not Carrara specific content ... I scarfed up a few inexpensie, ON Sale, items by petipet which recently went on sale.  Sci-fi Base 2  and Sci-fi Rover: Titan, the latter no longer on sale but only $4.99... note that both are PC+ items.  LOL... I had bought the trailer but needed the Rover to move it. :)

    edit/correction -- links now work properly.

    Yes petipet's stuff is great.  But as a side note, the direct links you have to the products are links to your product libary which don't work unless one already owns it.  :)

    While as is this will only Crash Carrara... Michael 8 is now available... grabbed the pro version... special price for PC+.  OT, I Apologize for posting.,, but thought someone would want to know anyway.

    thanks, I get great joy at not buying stuff that won't work in carrara :) I feel good saving so much money so consistently.

    in fact I find myself  hoping that stuff wont work so I wont have to buy it :)

And it's the debut product by our very own @vyusur who has joined the hallowed (cough!) ranks of DazPAs. Go Vyusur! yes
