    Resurrection!!!

    If an item has been deleted from the store, but is part of a bundle, then if you purchase the bundle it is still included with the purchase.  Not sure if any deleted Carrara items are affected, but I discovered it when asking about an old Predatron set.  What is dead may never die.

     

    At the moment, quite a few bundles are in the build your own bundle sale linked to by @3drendero.

    It doesn't make sense to me why they would delete an item from an active store. I get a feeling it was a mistaken deletion

    Wow. I don't have any time, but I came here to mention that I just got a nice load of goods from the store. I can't seem to find the promo anymore, but it was a selection of content - mostly compatible with Poser and Carrara, five items for twelve bucks. Most of Nightshift3D's Odyseon Station products were in there, so I got what I could, then spent one of my PC+ coupons to allow myself to grab two more, plus another Nightshift 3D product - even though there's also a LOT more other vendors in there too.

    I just watched most of the Matrix trilogy (still have to finish the last one) again after years... and so I was getting back into the mood to do some Shadowrun-style stuff. Nightshift3D's Odyseon Station (and other) stuff seems like it would fit right in with where my mind is now! LOL

    At the start of the month, there was a big TheAntFarm sale, so I grabbed Dystopian Destruction, B.A.W., and Floating Junk. I've been trying to get a render of that stuff with my new Outpost, from The DigiVault, but alas... the drned thing is dying harder now! :(  I'll keep trying though

    I know this is dark and dreery compared to the promos, but it fits with what will be going on. This one is the Control Room, but I did a few in this same sort of theme

    All of those times I wanted to press that "Add to Cart" button for that...

    Did you get it? I'm so stuck on getting incredibly FAST renders that HDRI solutions still scare me - except when I'm trying my own experiments with it.

    It was different (for me) back when ArtZone was still up - Howie Farkes would give render-time and visual examples of all manner of experiments for his wonderfully heavy scenes. They were very informative, giving potential buyers good data to go on while deciding. It certainly removed my fear of buying his products because he gave direct instructions on how I could use his scenes and still pull off fast(er) renders.

    I'm not sure about ArtZone, but in the old forums (not the last forum software, but the one before that), Dimension Theory was very active in giving examples, answering questions, etc., Tim Payne had extensive threads on cool topics to help folks... it's really too bad that it's all gone. Would have been awesome if they could have saved all of that info for folks to study. Sub7th gave away a LOT of cool Carrara model examples, Inigone put her cool shaders and lights up on ShareCG, which I'm very grateful for. Her products, especially the ReadMe docs, taught me an awful lot about building shaders and light rigs. Lots more... 3DAGE helped me a LOT in regards to learning how to even exist in the realm of Carrara's environment, as did Daz_Dell, I think his name was. NASSOS posted about his filmmaking in Carrara, Faba was active in her efforts on animation... it was a tome of amazing info.

    Saw that this morning. Of course... two days before payday! Maybe I should consider that a blessing? Nah... I wish I could buy up a bunch of this cool stuff! Genesis and/or Genesis 2 males and females all on sale for amazingly low prices... Crazy Awesome!!! Well... except that I can't do anything about it! LOL

    Sure am glad to be back on PC+ though... been getting a LOT of cool new gear lately!
