SMB links broken - Daz studio 4.20

Hi

 

After the update 4.20 all of my save file pointing assets to my server are broken !

The link is : \\TRUENAS\xxx\STOCK\exr\Playa_Sunrise.exr

It looks like it try to find : xxx/STOCK/exr/Playa_Sunrise.exr

It use "/" and should use "\" and doesn't register "\\TRUENAS\" in the URL.

 

Could you take a look, please ?

    UNC adresses like that are not supported, I'm afraid - if it was working before you were lucky, I know others with older versions of DS were not able to use such paths.

    Ok .. So I was lucky it was working since Daz 4.8 ?! 7 years !?

    I'm using a simple network share with windows. Nothing special.

    Every file I have and my save file are on my server. I'm not using storage space of my computer for obvious reason.

    So why breaking something that working before ? And I don't think I'm alone here.

    It's been a while since I have mssed with Samba/CIFS/SMB, but woudl it not be possible to mount the SMB share to a drive letter or local directory and then add that as the library path?
