Poser hair converter

I have the free Poser hair converter program that makes dynamic hair into an obj.
I am getting an error every time I try to import a dynamic hair to this now.
it worked before so I must have different settings or something
or else it ignores the hair and imports the ground only if ticked on obj export in Poser
I think I have tried every combination of ticking unticking obj export options.
if it had never worked I would understand but it did before.
I last used it when trying out Octane demo for Poser.
any suggestions?

You are using the one by Richard Kawecki?

If you are using that one, that is an external program, so I'd suspect that something may have changed in the .hr2 format... Oh! I rearead your post; you are working with the exported .obj file!

It sounds like you are exporting other stuff with the hair. When you are in the Select Objects box of the export dialogue, click on Universe first to unselect everything, then select the hair parts, and see if that helps...

I just exported one as an .obj with Weld Seams and Include Body Part Names checked and it loaded up fine. This was from Poser Pro 2014 Game Dev, SR5.2
