Need help with Poser 9, V4.2, and FBM (Full Body Morphs)

In an empty Poser 9 scene, I load Victoria 4.2.

From Pose\DAZ’s Victoria 4\Morph Injections\ I am loading INJ Base V4 and INJ Morphs++ V4

Selecting Victoria4 Body, under the parameter dials Morphs | Shapes, MaleBody is listed. Turning the dial to 1 produces the Male shaped body.

From Pose\DAZ’s Victoria 4\Morph Injections\Morph++, I am loading the Amazon morph. Under the parameter dials Deformers\Base, a dial for Amazon appears. But when I try to use it, nothing happens. Its preset limits are Min Limit: -1.00 and Max Limit: 0.00. I can change the limits, but nothing happens when I spin it up to 1.0.

Next, if I select another of what I think is a FBM, such as BodyBuilder, the Amazon dial is replaced by a BodyBuilder dial with the same limits. The new dial does nothing to the V4 model as its value is changed.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Once you inject Morphs++ V4, you can dial in Amazon under Morphs | Shapes. You don't need to inject it separately. I think the idea behind the individual morphs is to be able to inject only the morphs you want, and not the entire Morphs++ package. But you're injecting the entire package, and then injecting one of the individual morphs that are already loaded on top of it.

    Just inject Morphs++, then under Morphs | Shapes, dial in whatever shapes you want.

    Hope that makes sense?

    In Poser's general prefs, uncheck "use external binary morph targets" if you haven't. PMD's and V4 don't play well together.

    Also go to the !DAZ folder that is inside the library folder of the runtime you have V4 installed to. You will find two .bat files there. Run them to re-inintialize the morphs. It is a good idea to do this everytime you install a new morph pack the V4 runtime.

    Make sure you have the V4 base and the morph sets installed in the same runtime. Espeically the Morphs++ pack. Make sure the morphs are injected into the base. Don't assume because you injected all the morphs into the base and resaved the figure back to the Poser library it will load with all the morphs injected. It should but it doesn't always.

    Thank you icprncss.

    Your suggestion to run the batch files seems to have solved the problem. The FBM morphs++ dials are now actually appearing in the Morphs | Shapes section of the parameter windows.

    Thank you, DrOsborn
