    ZBrushCore does not support GoZ.

Here is a link to the feature comparison (look in the import/export section):

  • This page specifically says that the bridges (GoZ) are not in ZBrishCore https://zbrushcore.com/compare.php

Richard is fully on the mark here.

In the mean time I am happy to report that the upgrade to 4.20 is bound to be a lot less stressfull for ZBrush users than the update to 4.16 was. Back then I had some difficulties to get things back to work because ZBrush would glitch on me when I tried to "GoZ" things over, and Daz Studio somehow refused to pick up any changes I made in ZBrush.

The upgrade to 4.20 was a breeze in comparison. I updated everything and GoZ just continued to work just like it always had. For me that's a big deal because GoZ has turned into a major gamechanger for the things I do.

A tip if GoZ ever starts actin up on you. Go to your zbrush install location, then into the "troubleshoot help" folder and run GoZ_for_ZBrush_Installer_WIN.  I used to end up reinstalling zbrush everytime I started having issues, then someone pointed me to that file. If you are on mac, I am not sure if there is an equivalant file, but worth looking if you have the "troubleshoot help" folder and having a peek inside.
