DAZ Central installation does not recognize me

To be frank do not use/or want Daz Central.

Am interested in new Daz Studio Version

To get it have to install Daz Central.

After program is installed (Daz Central) type in name and password (Trust me, have done this 8 times already) I am doing it correctly.

The program does not know me

I can sign into my account, so information is correct.

Have cleared the cache

!. Is anyone else having the problem  with Daz Central

2. Is there any type of workaround that  would enable me to download the program (just the bare bones)

    What security software are you using? Have you tried Install Manager ( v ) instead (not that they should differ)? Have you tried going to

    %AppData%/daz 3d/installmanager/useraccounts/

    (on Windows, for Mac it will be the equivalent in the application support folder) and removing the Account.ini file (.plist fro mac, i think) to clear any stored settings that may be causing an issue?

    If nothing there helps you probably need to open a support ticket.

    Um, no, one does not need to install Daz Central. It's in our Product Library: https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files#prod_13176  where it can be downloaded manually.

    You can download DS and DIM by themselves and install. If you want better control over your libraries and much more than you may want to try out DIM (Daz Install Manager). It is a much more powerful tool and customizable.

    Thank you Richard (as usual)

    Problem solved, but by accident.

    Went to clean out the Daz Content Manager (will not give opinion of it)

    Totally forgot I had old version of Daz Install Manager....worked.

    By the way, had opened a support ticket, tech person very kind, was going to change password for me

    (I had changed it 8x in ine day) Since my main account was working did not want them to play with it.

    Keep this in mind for future problems:

    !. I did everything correctly (program installed 8 separate time, password changed, info correct)

    Even cleared cache

    2. My problem was solved, bot not the way it was supposed to

    In any case, I thank you very much for your response

    A little cross over two replies.

    I did install Daz Content Manager.......8 separate times.

    When installing, program knew my email address

    But, did not recognize the password 8x

    On one time copied password I entered and used it to paste into my account sign in. In my account it worked!!!
