Hi! Forgive me the slightly vague title but I'm looking for a particular product; do you think Esmeralda's hair exists for DAZ Studio?
I'm talking about the famous Disney character from the cartoon "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", that Esmeralda ..!
Sometimes it happens that many characters from cartoons, movies or even celebrities are created for DAZ anonymously or with good camouflage.

Those are the only hairs I can think of where they could be tweaked to something similar.

You have to remember, that Disney is very enthusiastic about protecting its IP, so folks have to be careful.
You could try Deviant Art, in case someone has created something - but be aware: there can be some errr: surprising images.
I appreciate your suggestion but the basic idea is pretty far from that hair.
hmm maybe this one ?

You're likely going to have to compromise, or make/commission.
An alternative is to pick some that have aspects that might be close, then combine em.
Maybe this, it has a lot of morphs and presets, though no hair band but that could possibly be added. Works fine with G8F as shown here.

Did you do this rendering? Beautiful!
Have you used a product to improve hair quality?
There is also the hair band; mmm I could use it "I think" on another hairstyle ..
No, it's right out of the box using the original texture, it works fine in Iray as it is. Personally I think the darker ones work better though.
The hair band for this hair only loads together with the hair, there's no separate preset for it.
Very nice.
I wonder if it would work with OOT's shader from Renderosity?
Will check tomorrow...
OK well !!![yes yes](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/thumbs_up.png)
Here's some samples using the OOT IrayPair shader. According to @outrider42 it's no longer fully compatible with newer Iray versions so you may need to do some adjustments. See these threads:

1. is the original Amphitrite shader, I actually think I like that one best. I've noticed that many older hairs seem to work best with their own shaders just applying the Iray Uber Base (which is applied automatically by DS if you don't do it yourself, when rendering).
2. is the black OOT shader with no adjustments
3. same as 2. but with some quick adjustments
The rest are a few other OOT colors, with no adjustments.
Here are black samples from a few other 3rd party Iray shaders, with no adjustments:
1. is the original Amphitrite shader, for a comparison
2. VYK (Vykhtoria) To Dye For 05-02
3. SV (Sveva) Candy 01
4. SloshWerks UHT2 Raven Black
BTW, when testing 3rd party shaders, remember to always apply a shader from the original hair between them to reset the settings, otherwise their settings may interfere with each other. If the original shader is also Iray I believe you'll have to delete and reapply the hair also (haven't tested it).
I would say that this thread's initial question has been diverted to another path.
I would like to understand why it is so difficult to recruit Disney characters.
As for the hair I agree on the addition of third party shaders but remember that that hairstyle is very dated and even the OOT is quite old now ..
Why is it hard to find content to recreate Disney characters? Because Disney doesn't like people who try to use their property without a license, and AFAIK those kind of licenses aren't exactly cheap...
Because Disney is protective of their intellectual property - they don't want Disney princesses in porn scenes, and trademarks (unlike copyright) have to be actively protected if they are not to lapse.
Sorry, looks like the images disappeared from one of my latest posts, have added them again...
