how to move the tabs down the side?

Ok so how do you get the tabs running along the side of a pane/panel/window in daz studio instead of along the top?
I have looked in the setting and well maybe I cannot see the tree for the trees.
as always help would be welcone

ok Done that, restarted Studio, but no change, they are still along the top?

But does it work before you restart? Unfortunately 4.20.0.2 (the current General Release) has a bug which prevents it saving the session layout (the state of the UI on closing) if there is no pre-existign file, and also prevents saving named layouts through the Window>Workspace menu options. The current Public Build has a fix.
Are the panes docked or undocked? I was assuming the fomer without checking.

OK, the at side option is - as far as I know - for docked panes only.

Well Richard, that link is no longer working for me (as of Dec 29, 2022) so not sure why Daz keeps hiding information, taking down links, etc. Seems kinda funny to me.
http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/change_log_4_20_0_17 once a build goes live its change log is moved to a separate page, the active change log is only new stuff post the last General Release. I can't get the link to the specific entry to work, you will need to scroll or use the in-page search from your browser.
