Shaders Causing Cracks all over my figure

When I make renders with my genesis 8 figures, I usually have cracks when I mix various bodyshell shaders.

What causes this, and is there a way for me to prevent it in render settings? I hate having to cover the cracks up in Photoshop.There are so many.

  • Are the figuers moved away from the origin (their default load postion)? Try chnaging the Instance Optimisation property in render Settings (and if you chnage it from memory set it back to that afterwards). You might also try increasing the shell's Offset value a little.

    Thank you so much.  I saw this response the other day, but I didn't realize I had asked this question. I checked out what you mentioned today, and I think it's working.

    I definitely don't see the cracks anymore. Thanks so much!
