Smart Content Library not working.

Hi,

For years, my DAZ had been working fine.

Suddenly, my Smart Content Library stopped working. The Search function also does not work.
I tried to reimport the metadata and nothing seemed to work.

I uninstalled and reinstalled CMS and DAZ. Still did not work.

Tried to import the old database. It showed error and did not work.

Now I notice, the CMS Process stops every now and then. Even while working, the Smart Content Library does nor show up. The window is blank.

Please help.

    Smart Content and the Search function (among others) requires CMS to be running as a Process in Windows Task Manager (Processes) before they will work.

    If you are still using CMS/Valentina, I would strongly suggest moving to the (fairly) new PostgreSQL database which seems to be much more stable.

    If CMS is not running, try starting it from Start > All Programs > DAZ 3D. If that doesn't work, then either try PostgreSQL though DIM or uninstall CMS, and then reinstall DAZ Studio, which will get you the latest version of CMS
