14 days without new Freebies from DAZ. What's happening?

    I didn't realize it had been that long, but I knew they haven't changed lately. I still check every day.

    It hasn't actually been that long. 7th to 17th is not 14 days, :roll:

    No, it really hasn't changed. It's gone a lot longer without changing, however.

    The pattern lately has been to change them every two weeks on Monday night / Tuesday morning. The last time they changed was 6 - 7 April; so I would expect they might change again next Monday or Tuesday (20 or 21 April)

    Nope, guys. It is more more time. My last freebies were in march 24. Since this, freebies page was empty for me. I count 3 weeks without new freebies. L75 War Oso was one of the last freebies. Freebies in april 6th are olds freebies from past weeks or more old time. In april 20-21 can be that other old freebies come, so... T_T

    Are you sure you didn't just already own everything that was on the Freebie list in between? That happened to me about a month ago. If Chohole says it was the changed on the 7th of April it was; being an admin they have access to more data figures than we do.

    Ehh, it was exactly I said...or I wanted to say. Are 3 weeks without "new" freebies, changes came, I saw them when I log out, but with old freebies that I already had. If DAZ rotate freebies from a pool of olds for me and other people is practically "no more freebies" in long time. This doesn't contradict that Chohole said.

    The multiple freebies are always old items. There have been new weekly freebies as usual (free for PC+ members or with purchase), as well as the older ones.

    Frankly, I think they just tend to forget about it. Historically, DAZ has always been really great about starting promotional ideas and not so great about actually following up on them, with even things like "Fast Grab" going dormant for long periods. A shame, as this one has actually worked, given that I've picked up a number of items that I got free textures for in the last few months.

    Well, not quite the same stuff - two items from last week's list aren't on this week's list, and vice versa.

    (What I'd really like to see is the old content from free.daz3d.com so that newer users can get copies of it... but I suspect it's highly unlikely that'll ever see the light of day again. And that's a pity; "Bridge of Pontus" still looks good, for one.)

    Of course the 7th to the 17th is two weeks! Just ask any bill collector. :ohh:
