Convert base female UV to Victoria 5?

Is there some (ideally free) way to do this?

My searches keep coming up with V4 > V6 or base female. Which is interesting but... not what I'm looking for.

I'd also take V5 > base female, come to think of it. (But, again, not seen that!)

the g2 base female textures should work on V5, i think they the same uv.

If you have both UV sets you should be able to use Map Transfer.

Yeah, I have yet to find a map transfer tutorial that I could even figure out where the map transfer thing IS.

I think it's the transfer utility, but I see absolutely nothing about uv maps.

which character skin you having trouble with?

    is it an HD skin?

are you manually adding the texture map or using a preset?

I'm using the Bree default G2F skin, and I want to use the subsurface texture on it for other skins.

The problem is that it is in 'base female' UV, and just switching it to V5 (which a lot of other stuff uses) shreds the seams.

Save the settings you want as a shader preset.

That tutorial is pretty easy to follow, within 5 minutes of reading it, I had my first map conversion done. I'd never done a map transfer before, so I wanted to see how it worked. With Sickle's help, smoothly and easily. (Yeah, I liked the tutorial...)

One thing...you can group like surfaces together. That is, ones that share the same map to begin with, and do them all at once.

Do you want the texture as in the maps or just the shader and settings?

Maps. I've mostly moved on, but it'd be nice to know how to do it.
