Poser and Genesis

I have had genesis for a while but never got around to using it much, can someone tell me if I can use v4 textures on genesis or do I have to go down the whole new route of buying stuff specifically for genesis, same with clothes, props etc. What are the essential files for setting up to be able to use genesis as easily as v4!!!?

Victoria 4 (and Michael 4) textures will work on the original Genesis out of the box. For Genesis 2 Female you need an add-n for the Victoria 4 UV set http://www.daz3d.com/victoria-4-for-genesis-2-female (though, for DS at least, you need materials settings in .duf format).
