To the DAZ Admins... can we PLEASE change the Online Shop Search?

Okay, generally, I like how the DAZ store's search feature works. Everything is categorized fairly nicely. However, there is one option that I cannot believe isn't available... and that is searching "male" and "female" items!
Today I spent a long amount of time sifting through hundreds of female fantasy outfits, looking for a few male ones--I left the search open because I'm looking for Genesis and Genesis 2 items. But GOODNESS I don't want to see hundreds of basically the same female fantasy outfit before finally getting to a few good male ones.
Can we please have this feature?
Also, I hope this went in the right forum. I didn't go under product suggestions because I'm not asking for a product.

Did you try selecting a figure after selecting the category section?
I understand it works well for most figures. But if I'm searching for Genesis items, and mostly I am, I can't chose [clothing] items based on gender. I just think it'd be a nice feature to have.
I do know what you mean, it's just implementation that could be tricky.
Given the unisex nature of Genesis and Genesis products, it does make it a little hard to split products based on purely gender.
Because it's a tutu doesn't mean its not going to work on a troll male or a gorilla for example. It may look a little silly but it will still work with the figure.
The split doesn't currently exist as the drill downs are based around compatibility of the product to a figure.
For example http://www.daz3d.com/tale-hero is marketed as a male product in the promo's but it should work equally well with a female character. So there is no reason it shouldn't appear in a female search as well as male. The majority of Genesis products would fall into this grouped compatibility base so in effect the male and female splits would have almost identical products in them. Making it somewhat redundant.
Unless you just go for an arbitrary split like skirts are for girls, pants are for boys. Swords are for boys, flowers are for girls. And in a way that moves away from the spirit that the Unisex figure was attempting to implement. 'One figure to rule them all, free to wear whatever it wants'
Yeah, the current search system is awful from a customer's perspective. Unfortunately, it's also a marketer's dream, as it forces you to look at dozens of products that are only vaguely related to a custom search.

I was looking for "crossfit" not "croissant" XD
Shop search seems to be working better for me lately. It used to be that i couldn't even search and find a specific product even if I entered the entire product name in the search field. It would just return a huge amount seemingly unrelated items. Now I can find specific products successfully.
