Renaming images in one folder to name of folder

I can easily do this by copying the name of the folder, highlighting all images within and pasting as new name.

I have File Renamer software and it has been wonderful for batch renaming, adding or removing parts of names.  This is done within the software.  Say, I want to add "Daz Freebie-2022."  I can easily do that.  However, I just want the software to know what folder it is in and name it that...also, if more than one image..add "folder name" 1, "folder name" 2, etc.

However, it does not have a simple rename to folder name.

Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thank you so much.  Signed, Very Lazy Jan :)

    If you mean append/prepend the name of the containing folder to each file, this one can do it (free for personal use):

    Oh, my gosh!!!  This is a game changer!!!  

    When I purchase a product, using the name of the promo images are something different than the item, or it has extra info.  Thank you so, so very much!!!

    I Googled and Googled this topic before asking.  I find what I need...Usually!!!  But, Daz Members, like you, are just awesome for advice. :)
