Makeup

With my vision impairment, I literally can't see much change with makeup beyond dark eye shadow.

It doesn't help that PAs use names like MU01, Face_04, etc I s. T was of like EyeShadow_Black, GreenLips, etc.

Also, I'm a dude. That means I'm makeup impaired too. Lol

So, can I get some help?

About the girl (G3F) I'm makeupifizing: She's a green eyed redhead in a dark blue cop uniform.

I think casual everyday makeup.

I have the LIS Make Up Set 1 and 3 for G3F. Or...feel free to make another product.

I just need someone to point out which file to use to make it look good (not going for sexy, just casual). Remember, I'm visually challenged, so if you said "brown shadow", I'll be like "Uhhh...which one is brown?"

Struggles of VI artists...

well, quick Google search gets this:

If you want to bring out the green in your eyes – try purples, pinks, and reds. It's best to avoid eyeshadow with blue undertones as it will only make your eyes appear dull. Opt for a slate grey or a brown eyeliner instead of black for daily wear. Wearing a peach-colored blush will complement your eyes well.

okay, but which ones are that color......

Maybe it's best to just take the base texture into photoshop or gimp and add your own makeup, it's pretty much what I do when I need specific makeup

except me doing it in Photoshop would cause it to lose details lik,e the lashes. i don't know how those are even painted.

is there a mercfh resource for makeup?

You could always try this product: https://www.daz3d.com/essential-makeup-for-genesis-8-female as you'll be able to control the colors since the makeup is applied using masks.

lashes shouldn't be a part of the face texture, so not sure how you would lose them.

on Karen 7's makeup texture map, if you zoom in so you can see the liner, there's details that look like hair

I don't see anything resembling eye lashes.

There is an eye liner that extends to the side, but that is part of the makeup.

And anyway, if you apply your makeup on a new layer and use LIE in Daz Studio, you won't mesh with the underlaying texture.

isn't there a way to make the eyeshadow and liner different colors?

i know you select the face surface and apply he brush areas then the color shader,l but its only letting me use one color, as there's only one color wheel yin the diffuseoverlay section of the surfaces tab where they load
