Fix for deleing figures?
It’s to the point where deleting a figure from a complex scene takes a ridiculously long time. Is there a fix for that? With version 4.10, deleting a figure from a scene took seconds. Deleting a batch of figures from a scene took seconds. Now it takes hours in some cases, and it seems to be dependent on the number of objects in the scene.
I’m currently running 4.16. I have this very complex mall scene, and it has numerous stores with numerous objects. There are five figures in the scene, four of them in dForce clothing. The way I use dForce is to save the figure as a subset, load it into the Beta, do the simulation and save as a subset again, and reload it into the scene. To delete and load a single figure from the scene takes about 20 minutes. So Last night before I went to bed, I loaded the scene and highlighted all of the figures, and deleted them. What I wanted was the mall scene with no figures so I could individually load them after they’ve been dForced. It has been running all night and all morning to delete these five figures.
I’ve been doing my own work arounds to combat the issue but what is really needed is for Daz to clean up the deleting of figures process so it takes seconds once again. Are the good folks at Daz at least addressing the issue? Every time a new version comes out the first thing I check is to see if it’s been fixed, and if anything it’s been getting worse and not better. The second thing I check is if ghost lights work again, but that's another discussion.

Update: the delete I started last night just finished. Took 12 hrs.
