Hi All,
I can't seen to figure out how to remove my updated Beta 4.16 from DIM, as my ole computer is not up to spec for this version. I had / have Beta 4.15 which works fine on my computer, I just cannot seem to work it out.
Any help or advise who be appreciated.
Many thanks in advance

Do you have a backup of the install files for the 4.15 beta?
Hi Leana,
Yes I do, I just can't figure out how to uninstall. Now I think about it I have never uninstall anything from Daz before! ...LOL
Go to the Installed tab in DIM and select the product you want to uninstall and start queue. Take a copy of your Beta you want to install and drop it into the downloads folder for DIM. It will reappear in Ready to Install.
Hi Frank,
No can do No luck with finding Beta 4.16 in DIM to remove, thats the first thing i did. But I did find the Beta folder in my program file....... Can I delete or uninstall from there?
Its my b****y fault for updating Beta 4.15 to Beta 4.16 via DIM.
If you have the zips backed up, drop the in the Downoaods folder as stated then start Install maanger and work offline (or go offline if it is set to log in automatically) so that it can't see the newer version (which is 4.20.x.x, not 4.16.x.x)
Thanks Richard, I'll give it a go..... Errr, will it over write Beta 4.16 or will I now have two Betas's (4.15 & 4.16) on my system...As I said, I have an ole mash-up computer which just about runs Daz 4.15 smoothly, plus I know if i go any higher i cant play with Daz anymore ....
Assuming the other release was installed through Install Manager - which for a beta it must have been - it will overwrite.
Hi Richard,
I placed Beta zip in download folder but can't see anything via DIM ready to download. I was wondering is the wording of the zip right, its not a Daz IM000 just DAZStudio4.15.0.30.

if you put the zips in the Downloads fiolder then they will appear in ready To Install when you are using DIM in offline mode - if you can see the ready to Download tab then you are online, and DIM will show only the current version.
That sounds more like the .exe file (as downloaded from your account's Product Library) for the general release, not the zip for the Beta, which should be named "IM00012000-02_DAZStudio415PublicBuildWin64bit.zip"
