This might be easier to just build myself, but I have to ask 'cuz there are some very resourceful folk here. You'd think this an easy item to find.
I'm looking for a simple, older looking Bible, similar to this frame grab from "Cat Ballou". The book is for concealment of a derringer or hip flask, so needs to open but not for page flips.
Any suggestions?

Check Turbosquid. There is this for $5: https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-model-holy-bible/1074868 They also have other bibles that might work for you.
A freebie. Although not a bible, but you could kitbash the cover to make it one. It does have an open and closed version, which the vast majority of 3D books do not:

This is a better possibility, https://www.daz3d.com/ancient-tomes particularly with this texture add on: https://www.daz3d.com/sacred-texts
Thanks folk. They all look good, but think the one at cleverbook is the ticket. I planned on a bit of alteration no matter what.
Here is a free book with a cutout already inside:

There are also several free books at Sharecg.com if you search on 'book'.
And I searched over and Rendo too but didn't come across this one. Thanks .
It's the "bible" I used a few years ago for this render: just parented a model cross onto the cover and posed accordingly.
