Callie 6 going on my wishlist, spent more then my budget this month- but not sure as to how big of a sale I'm going to wait for now untill I get her. If anyone gets her and has The Girl 6 as well please post some side by sides to show how different they are.

Thanks,

Freak 6, David 6, and Hiro 6, please, DAZ. I'm pretty sure no one was asking for Girl 6 Mark II.

Freak 6's potential shape was made largely obsolete by SWOLE and Raw Art's amazing muscular morphs.

I, too, would appreciate a comparison, however. I'm very tempted to get Callie, as I've started experimenting much more with cartoon styles and comedy (especially as we now know a male counterpart for G2M is arriving). But I would like to see the excellent Girl 6 beside her. They clearly have a different facial shape, but I'd like to see by how much. Difficult to make a mental estimation by just promotional pictures, alone!

Wondering if they are also the same height.

They are similar styles but a fair bit different.. certainly more different than V6 to Olympia. I personally like Girl's face more but Callie's body more. Thankfully I can easy mix 'em with G2. =)

I used FWF Sukura's fast Uber Surface skin and FWArt's regular character lights. (3Delight)

Both are pretty but for me I see no need to own Callie when I already have Girl. If I didn´t have either and was about to buy one I´d still buy Girl because I like her skin maps more (better make-up options in my opinion that can be used on more realistic characters as well while Callie´s make-up is really cartoony, especially those glossy lips).

Here we go.. Fisty's perfect western toon girl.. Girl 6 head with Callie 6 body.

(edit: I loaded Callie 6 from the character folder so it got her proper scaling, turned off limits on Callie 6 head so I could zero it out, then dialed up Girl 6 head to 100)

    Thanks Fisty!

She definitely looks good! The Girl's little sister... Bigger Eyes, lips and curves.

I do like her body better too but no need for me to rush and get her.

I don't have a current need for the Disney big eyed look right now, I can wait for the next big sale...

I've seen both of those products -- no disrespect intended, but they're not what I (and from what I've read, a lot of other people) want. If DAZ was NOT going to make products based on what's already available on the market, then we wouldn't be looking at Callie 6 in the first place, as we already had Girl 6 (after all, her potential shape is made largely obsolete by Girl 6, to use your argument), or Belle or Brodie, for that matter, seeing as how we already had Josie and Jayden.

Good comparison! Always helps when the same hair is used.

Interesting to see both the similarities and differences. It seems as if Callie is more definitively cartoon-like (and, thus, would benefit a lot more from, say, cartoon shaders for required hair), while Girl is more of a deliberate compromise between caricature and reality. Certainly shows that there are some obvious facial (and height) differences, though.

And yet things like Callie's knees look far less stylized and more realistic. (Which somehow just seems wrong, when a 'Toon has more realistic knees than a semi-realistic stylization.)

Callie is definitely a 3DUniverse contribution, just as Giselle and one or two others were ThorneWorks.

There is something odd to me about Callie's shoulders and the thrust of her head. Like she's hunched or something. Not sure if it is just the poses I see the character in or not.

Frankly, I already now have more than 1 cartoon female that's useless without a male counterpart. I'm just passing on Callie entirely.

How do we know 3D Universe made this?

The stylised male counterpart is on the way.

Callie 6 I had to purchase, now all I have to do is figure out the software and do something creative with it and her.
