No animated rain in theThe Urban Future Bundle?

Hello there,

as far as I remember I seem to have read that here must be 'animated rain" available in the The Urban Future Bundle but I cannot
figure out where to find it or how to get this working.

Any tips?

    as far as I remember this item was already supposed to be included WITHIN the Urban Future Bundle! (?)

    And I am sure as hell it was even mentioned in the Future bundle prescription !!!

    My guess is Dreamlight separated this feature out of The Bundle.

    When it comes to dreamlight I get paranoid!

    Anyway.

    I bought the bundle in 2013, and as Stonemason said, it didn't have the rain feature back then (I would have it in my product library otherwise, which I don't have).
    I doubt that they added it, just to remove it again.

    Syphonaptera,

    Stonemason is the PA that made the bundle, not dreamlight. So his answer to your query is in the post above yours. Also the animated rain product by Dreamlight only worked in DS2 as noted in the description.

    The animated rain part of Urban Future 2 Dreamlight Light Set With Animated Rain works OK in DAZ 4.7. I can't speak about the rest of it and how it integrates with Urban Future 2 because I don't have Urban Future 2, I just bought it for the rain.

    There is also Urban Future 4 Psy District, which has animated rain, but I don't have this (even though I have Urban Future 4!) so I can't comment on it.

    If you can't speak for the whole product, then I wouldn't suggest someone buying it, as the descriptions clearly states it doesn't work with later version.

    Ok guys, now I am confused.

    So, what do I have to buy to get a working animated rain for f.e. to work with the future city bundle, or just a part of it? It would be so cool if the animated rain could be used with other scenes/prop settings.

    Any definitive closing tips on this?

    DAZ does a 30-day returns policy, so if you can't get the rain to work as you want it you can return it for a full refund. As Male-M3dia said, the Urban Future 2 add-on is not supported for DAZ 4.7, but the rain works, and yesterday it was on Sale for about $6. It is full price again now. The Urban Future 4 add-on should be wholly compatible with DAZ 4.7 (it doesn't say it isn't).

    And you can use the animated rain in any scene. It is a separate prop with its own timeline.
