New modeling app coming - Plasticity

Judging from the video, looks like it would be fun to try and would work well for less advanced users needing less advanced objects. Doesn't seem to have UV mapping capabilities, but if enough beta testers ask for this option, maybe it will get added. Yeah, I know there is blender, but the UI is still hard for many, so it's always good to have options. When I started years ago I tried 12 different apps before sticking with 3DSMax which made the most sense to me.

    Thanks. I'm a Blender fan but it can be hard to navigate for people like me who are not modellers or who don't spend a lot of time using it. There are so many options and highly technical procedures that it is difficult to know what to learn. Something aimed at the casual user might well suit me better although I would dearly like to have some way to produce UV maps easily.

    For Blender users : there is a paid add on called Fluent that speeds up hard surface considerably.
