Animation not working in Simulation

Greetings all,
I recently acquired some animations for a figure and they appear to work seemlessly... however, I cannot get it to Simulate at all.
For instance, when I select my character and load the animaiton, it puts it into my timeline accordingly, however, it doesn't actually make any KEYS. It just has a bunch of grey blocks, or tiny squares where the normal triangles would exist for the KEYS, and that's it. The animation will play perfectly fine there in the texture view mode on the timeline, but if I Simulate the timeline, the character just stands still in one spot and does not actually perform the loaded animation in the timeline.
All other poses, animations, etc, are typically loading the KEYS for the entire animation set when you double click it to load it into your timeline, but not this one... what am I missing with this one?

That sounds like an AniBlock rather than a straight animated pose - if so you need to Bake To Keyframes.

It is, in fact, and aniblock. I was not all that familiar with aniblocks, so I was assuming they worked just like normal animations and poses.
