Is there a quick way to convert PZ2 poses to DUF files?

I recently picked up Zevo's/Draagonstorm's Pose Builder script. I knew going into it, that it required the poses to be in duf/dsa/dsf file format. What I didn't realize was how many PZ2 poses I had.
I know I can manually load the pose, and then resave the pose as a duf, but this seems like a long and tedious process...
Am I missing an easy convert someplace?

In order to avoid you thinking you were being ignored, I'll offer my opinion. (BTW, often when no one responds to such posts it is because no one has an answer, and not because you are being ignored).
I don't believe there is any way to batch convert Poser pose files (.pz2) to DAZ Studio pose files (.duf). Notice my emphasis on files. Since DAZ Studio can read .pz2 files, conversion is possible by applying the .pz2 pose to the appropriate, pre-loaded character, then saving the pose as a .duf file as you have already described. It is the intermediate step of applying the pose to the character than allows the conversion to .duf format, so it is not the .pz2 file itself that is converted. That is why I do not think a batch conversion is possible either within or outside of DAZ Studio.
Someone more familiar with DAZ Studio scripting can jump in here and correct me if I am wrong.
Well, I asked about this back in April, But no dice then.... However DraagonStorm just released this:
Batch Convert Gen4 Poses to .DUF Format
http://www.daz3d.com/batch-convert-gen4-poses-to-duf-format
Thank you DraagonStorm, this moves to the top of my wishlist for my next batch of purchases.
I just bought it. It is very easy to use and very quick. The only issue would be when you have couple poses. I haven't tried it on those yet, but I have a suspicion you many need to separate out the male from female ones first.
I'm one of the ones who nagged Draagonstorm into creating that script, and it's great. An unpublicized side-benefit is that the poses don't have to be installed in your runtime in order to do the conversion... rather than searching through all the runtimes finidng the odd sets of poses that are packed in random places, I'm just unzipping the files into a separate folder and doing the conversions from there, which drops the finished dufs in the folder(s) of your choice. As far as the couples poses are concerned, there is an option to drop individual poses from the line item list before the conversion, but I'm find it to be a lot easier to convert the entire folder, then delete the odd poses where a M4 pose was converted to a V4 one.
That's good to know... It has been mu experience that most poses work on most characters (with minor tweaks), and as such I wanted to move all the poses to a common main folder to be able to find them quickly.... but I'm sure I don't need to tell you the results.... This will make both making a single folder and using the "Pose Builder" script much more efficient.
Would this work on injection files that don't work in studio?
Injection poses aren't "really" pose files. Are they trying to inject .pmd morphs from Poser? I don't think there's any way to do that in DS4.
I just found Posemaster for DAZ Studio can do this, as well. You just batch convert V4 to V4, and it resaves them as DUF's. Just another option, as I was looking for the same thing, and found I could use this, which I had got a while back for converting my A3 poses to V4 and Genesis.
I'm looking for a way to convert .pz2 files to .duf files. These aren't 'pose' files from a figure, they're mat files to change the Mil Cat from say from a tabby to siamese. The .pz2 files for changing the mats aren't working for me in DS 4.10, and the converter I own from Dragonstorm only convers Gen4 poses to .duf files.
Isn't there by now a converter that will convert pz2 mat files to duf files?
I don't know how to write scripts or alter an existing script. I just need a working converter.
Thanks.
I recently bought the M4/V4 prince, princess, king & queen clothing still in mc6 / pz2 formats and it is time consuming to have to figure 'oh, I need the base product 1st to use the addon product because the icons look 'complete' with no clue you need the other things.
I go to the 'Products' listings rather than navigate the mess that is the 'Content Library' when using things that aren't Smart Content
Never to late to share a good pointer: I believe there is a free mc6 to duf converter over on sharecg.com.

Yikes! Any way to narrow my search? I've spent a while doing every search parameter I can think of and nothing is coming up.
I sometimes get bitten by this. Have you tried dragging the material file from the Content tab onto the object in the Viewport? For some reason that doesn't trip whatever bug is causing the double-click hiccup.
I believe the converter mindsong was referring to, sapat, was this one:
https://www.sharecg.com/v/84580/browse/10/Software-and-Tools/MC6-MT5-to-PZ2-Batch-Converter
Not exactly what you were looking for, since your files are already in .pz2 format, as I understand it.
That's the one, thanks for digging up the link (I was on my phone when responding).
I saw the 'mat to duf, and thought of that tool. I don't know if the pz2 mats can be isolated/saved as mc6-s, etc. hopefully that link may help someone!
cheers,

Yes, they're already pz2, but I downloaded it anyway just in case. I don't like using .mc6 files in DS and .mt5 doesn't work at all since they're just individual materials and not a material collection. For me, the final hurdle would be to get all those pz2 into duf and be done.
I own this product (for instance)
https://www.daz3d.com/michael-4-for-genesis-2-male
But in the notes it says:
**Genesis 2 Male can only use presets saved in the DUF format, so presets saved in other formats must be converted to DUF and saved before applying to Genesis 2.
This is just an example of what some of the products say, but they don't say what to use to accomplish converting the "other format" to duf unless they think you're gonna do every single piece of clothing and save as a material preset. I'd like to batch convert and entire folder of .pz2 clothing mats to .duf material presets. You'd think there would be a converter to do this already in the market, or some scripting genius in the forums could say, "hey, that's easy, I can do that!"
No, haven't tried it, but at this point I'll give it a go, thx.
Well for the specific case of M4 to G2M, Draagonstorm wrote this: https://www.daz3d.com/m4-skins-batch-converter-to-genesis-2-male-s (there's one for V4 to G2F too) - but that doesn't address your question of convertijng Mil Cat mats or clothing mats.
