ca has the lovely send to origin, but no sees drop to floor? ctrl+D duplicates

ds and ps haz lovely drop to floor, but no sees send to origin?

struggling with unwieldy pieces can't even see where they load.
and if i zoom to it with camera, can't see which direction to slide-dial it.
a send to 0,droptofloor,0 is one of those essential things, do we have the technology?

You could add a null, parent it, then send the null to 0,0,0.

Comes down to how the pa positioned the object, I really hate when props are at stupid positions all rotated and floating and far off world centre when values ar 0.0.0. Many of those props I try to fix, but most I just don't bother using. There's a moveorigin script for daz somewhere is particularly useful, but you'd want to save as another prop to not cause issues with original (which usually set up for placement with other objects or handheld).

select the hip and check if it is also set for 0 in the translation settings; most poses that move a character to the side use the hip.

Create a null, at the origin.
Select the null, then select the thing you want to centre.
    Open the Align pane (Window>Panes(Tabs)Align).
Set the options you want - to centre on all axes select Align Centres for each axis, to align horizontally but place on the floor set the X and Z to Align Centres and the Y to Align Bottoms.
    Click the Apply button.
