OT CorelDraw moving to a subscription only program

As I understand it, the last version you can buy a perp[etual license for is 2021. I was enrolled in their Update Protection Program. They sent me an email saying they were retiring the UPP program. They said lot of the program would be cloud based going forward, so future releases would be missing significant elements. That's the reason they gave for retiring the program. Since I had the UPP, I get version 2022. But that is the last full version I will get. The subscription price is $269. I hope all their programs don't go subscription only.

I think I still have a copy of Corel Draw from sometime in the 1990s. Doubt it works now.

I have been buying many of their other products for the past few years, but I am skipping this year. Just no more space and expenses for everything keeps going up. And the improvements I saw advertised just didn't interest me. So I am glad I have been saving the download files because they are picky about helping you out if you have a crash and lose your files.
