Weird Thing with Render Settings

I couldn't find anything about this already posted. My weird thing is that when I go to Render Settings (DAZ Studio 4.20 and Windows 10) initially there are two options missing on the left-hand window (where things like General, Render Mode, etc. are found.) The options missing are 'Environment' and 'Tone Mapping.' I have to select to render the blank scene and only then do those two items appear.
I'd love a fix but I don't want to bother Tech support with this if someone has a suggestion on how to get Tonemapper Options and Environment Options to appear when I first open a scene.
Thank you,

Environment and Tone Mapping are nodes which you either manually add or are automatically added in some products. why would you not want them added automatically? some people use other render engines like Blender where they would be useless. If you don't see them in your scene at the start, add them. If you use a product like an HDRI that adds them automatically, the product will apply the proper settings to your nodes.
I'm sorry for not being clear. I don't know how to make them appear manually nor how to appear automatically. Instructions for how to achieve this would be humbly received.
If you find that they don't show up when you open Daz (it's really a 50/50 crap shoot I've found if it shows up automatically), you can go to the create button on the top, and you'll find new environment and new tone mapping node as options. For me it's fifth and sixth from the bottom, but I have fluidos and those options are right underneath environment and tone mapping so it might be different for you, but it's in that last box in the create tab.
Thank you for that tip. I'll look there now when it doesn't load right (which, like you said, is a 50/50 chance.)
Cheers!

Those 2 options are also automatically added (if not already present) when you hit the render button; for me the quickest way to add them to a scene is indeed just hit render and quit the render directly....
Otherwise you can choose the Iray preview mode for the viewport and those nodes will magically appear.
Thank you, everyone! I've started to get into the habit of jumping to my Aux Viewport and turning on the Iray Preview. Works like a charm. :)
