https://www.daz3d.com/bonnie-81-mega-bundle  How about putting this in the Grab Bag for $3.99 or $2.99 if we buy 10? Pretty Please :-)

While dreaming, guess what, I really did get THREE, yes, 3 job offers in the SAME month, to apply for. [don't worry] 3 different companies all wanting me to work with a team making stuff for GAMES -- basically the salary, yeah, salary, offered is from $52 to 60 an HOUR.

Plus BENEFITS!
* Work with an experienced, passionate and driven team that will help you show your creativity and skills to millions of players.
* Full health care coverage.
* Dental and vision coverage
* Paid time off.
* Bonus pay.
* Employee discount
* Flexible work schedule and Unlimited vacations.

Why am I mentioning of these fantastic job offers, that sound just SO good, 3 companies -- all sending out the SAME letter. SCAM SCAM SCAM

So just in case anybody else was sent such an offer, be ware. Vultures exist.

Here are some 3D doodles, I need to show them to somebody so you all get to see them ;-)
And NO, I'm not charging that much for anything lol ...

eta: one more pic ;-)

    These are real cute! I haven't gotten round to playing with Bugga Boo much yet, glad to see you are doing it. And thanks for letting us know about the fake job offers.

    Love your 3D Doodles.  Keep up the great work, and thank you for your various freebies.

    And thank you for the warning!

    Be careful out there, folks.

    I had a scammy PM from some company once, another user I chat to outside the forum was so excited about the great offer he got until I copied and pasted the identical PM sent to me and no doubt many others.

    Not always are such offers scams, but just like we DAZ 3D hobbyists use the same DAZ models, so do too HR often use the same SW and form documents. Heck, governments & corporations are insistant upon it. I once took 5 tests to prove my resume was what I claimed with 5 different companies in a 2 week span and 2 of the tests were identical and the other 3 not far off from the 2 that were identical. And yes, one of those tests led to me accepting a legitimate salaried job.

  • Yes, this is not necessarily a scam. When I was job shopping as a developer, every now and then I did get duplicate offers. Companies sometomes work with multiple agencies to find talent, and those agencies simply cast a wide net. The materials and test, etc. are sometimes the same because it was the hiring company itself that fed them to the headhunter agency.

    These were not from a headhunter.

    They all claimed to be by the companies seeking employees. Employees who were to have certain qualifications and willing to take on 'the entire project' by the sounds of the responsibility list, who could have "no experience" [like yeah right] - not to worry, "We offer some online training for the position and people with no experience can apply."

    To join in, for an interview, all letters required the use of Telegram, all letters had different names in all places:

    "To join our incredibly talented and passionate team follow the necessary steps below to interview for this position.

    Our HR team would like to have a brief chat with you through our Telegram page for job interview, you can download Telegram app on your computer or smartphone from the app store, and message " [...Name A...] " the HR Manager on Telegram through his username ([...HRcompany]) to get started.

    NOTE: Telegram is a simple chat messaging platform for workers like Slack."  [no idea who Slack is but they all refer to Slack who must like Telegram]

    [...Name B...]
    Human Resources Department.
    [...Name of Company...]

    ................................

    All these companies that allegedly sent these letters, have websites and normal ways to contact them if seeking employment. They do, none of them, require the use of Telegram. You have NO idea who you would be giving your details to.

  • I said "not necessarily a scam." :)

    Your case is pretty shady, agreed. That's even lower than normal: to prey upon victims looking for employment.

    I realize that. Used to have a neighbour who was a headhunter - she used the phone.

    Did some more googling though and sure enough, basically the same letter has been in use for a few years. Used to offer a slightly higher salary. A few folk have played them out to see what they were after. To get bank info, allegedly to pay one, refusing to pay via PayPal or any other means, they want land bank info ... and also to sell one a company computer ... and also to sell one that training they were talking about in the letter. They like to target people starting out in the field who might be hungry enough to jump at a chance to work for such a famous company as whichever company they're pitching.

    If one wants a job, one finds the company and applies through normal means. If one initiates the contact one should then be at least dealing with the correct group of people.

    My brother got one last year, one of the biggest shipping companies in the world was 'offering' some 20k UK pounds/month for an expert position they didn't specify.
    The 'offer' even looked good and didn't have the usual spelling/grammar errors, and I asked a guy in our UK office if there was any chance it was legit... Yeah just another scam...

  • It's difficult to believe that people who would do that to someone already looking for work actually exist.

    There are some that will prey on the desperate.

    It is important to remain skeptical especially while online.

    telegram and whatsapp, or is it whatapp, are no-goes for me personally...

    I think there is also signal and a few others.

    When my niece graduated college, she applied for a job she found on a job board. She told me they gave her a test and hired her. After congratulating her and getting real happy for her, I started asking questions and it turned out there had not even been a single telephone interview. I told her to check deeper as did her dad. Turned out to be a scam. No such company existed and they were just trying to get personal info even though she thought it made sense because 2020 and Covid etc.  Good thing she didn't fill out social security number info. It was so disheartening for her. Luckily she has a good, and real; job now.

    That was a close call, thankfully there was a happy ending :-)

    .................................

    Today's mullings ... I finished doing all I'm doing atm for this head scarf. Made a few pose morphs using dForce and the Bootiful Poses for Bugga Boo.

    This character needs an instruction booklet lol ... at least for what I've got going here so far.

    1. Load figure, then dial in Bugga Boo OR load Bugga Boo.

    2. With Bugga Boo selected, then load the gown. At no point in using this does one want to have the full-sized figure in place of the short Bugga Boo. The gown will go real goofy.

    3. With "nothing selected" one loads into the scene the hair for which I made a fit {my first hairfit, probably broke every rule in the book but it works for me}, select the hair and apply the hairfit I made. Then parent the hair to the head. All its morphs will work :-) My laptop system cannot handle dForcing hair, looking forward to one day getting a nice desktop that can.

    4. With Bugga Boo selected one then can load the Lady's Scarf "prop" file. It will load in place over the hair that is on Bugga Boo. :-) If one forgets, it will load in a strange place and size, I do not know why.

    5. With Bugga Boo selected, apply a pose - if using my pose morphs on the gown, then look for a pose that I've got a morph for. On the Parameters Tab find the match morph for the gown and apply it. Select the Lady's Scarf to have it appear on the Parameters Tab and if there's a pose morph for that pose, it can then be applied.

    6. When resetting the "POSE ONLY" for Bugga Boo, remember to dial out the clothing(s) morphs.

    7. The gown and the head scarf can be simulated using dForce ... select the item, add a dForce modifier, have Bugga Boo at the 30 mark, use the timeline for the simulation, let it work from the default position to the new pose. Do NOT freak out about mid-point when the gown might look real goofy WHEN simulating the head scarf. By 30 all should be well ;-)

    8. I need to do a few more tests and package up the items -- if anybody is interested in this outfit.
