The artist's name is actually hugomorate. The comments on that image say "building imported", so I'm guessing it's not a Daz asset. It might be from Kitbash3d or something similar, but it could be from just about anywhere.
Actually, I just glanced at Kitbash3D, and it definitely looks like part of the Gaea set.
dam that was fast.
thanks Gordig.
now can I justify $100 and whats the best format to inport to Daz
Definitely OBJ. The textures will all have to be done manually except for diffuse maps if you're lucky, so if you've never done something like this before, expect a slog.
It looks like a FF14 asset.
another cheaper than Kitbash3D option is the Meshbox/Mirye Elven Village props, the inn is a very similar but different style
Oh... wow! Sometimes I really do forget that Daz is only a microcosm, and there are definitely other worlds out there! What a gorgeous set! Maybe I will pile all my mad money into one place...
Ya, for the KitBash items in DS, use the FBX/OBJ route. The .mtl file might have to be edited as it has the file names with a double \\. Simply relpace all with a single / and ypur good to go.
example:

That's definitely a Kitbash 3D Gaea building. I own the package.
I imported by opening up the file in Blender then selected the building I wanted. Export as a Collada file (.DAE).
Make sure you specify that you only one the selected item and you want the texture files. This will create a DAE file with the textures included.
When you import into DAZ, it should ask for the location of the textures once. Then automatically find all of the files.
You will need to go into the Shaders of each surface and tweak them, but I've found the easiest way is to use the default DAZ Iray Shaders. Apply using a Control click and specify that you want to retain the existing textures. After that you may need to apply the additional Blender texture file in some of the Shader options (Bump maps and Normals come to mind).
(For this part just use common sense... I.e. for a wood wall use one of the default "Wood" Iray textures. This will get you the basic Iray settings to start from.)
If for some reason the export doesn't seem right / is missing textures, open Blender and use the "Find Missing Files" option. This helps connect any missing textures.
Good to know. Thank you.
Thanks all for the help and info.
the model is from Kitbash 3D.
so whent and had a look and signed up to the news letter and joined the site,
get an email confirming the join and a free mondel "neo city"
nice, I can try out the import and see how it gos,
well, FBX loads all the city parts, but they are very small dots far off in the distance, all around the center of Daz studio and the scales are all way too small.
OK.
So I tried OBJ. better scale wise ( still needs to be made bigger, but no problem)
but all the models are one prop.
may have to look at the Blender route
