VDB volume surface not offering file tab - Solved
Greetings,
Has probably been asked before. I am following the VDB video on the Daz blog. I opened Studio. I created a primitive cube. I used the geometry editor to change the name of the default surface to Volume. I used smart content to find the Daz resources. I applied the Simple OpenVDB Volume shader. I went to the surfaces tab. I highlighted the volume surface. There is no tab for the volume file. I tried clicking the Simple OpenVDB again making doubly sure the cube was selected. Note - I downloaded a sample VDB file from OpenVDB, but there is no chance to use it yet because I can't find the slot on the surfaces tab.
I must be missing a step.
UPDATE
Don't know why, but now it works.
