Is there a easy way to roll back to 4.16?

Every day brings a new issue and struggles to find work arounds for the new 4.20. Not worth it to me for volumetrix. Things that have been affected, Kindered Arts ghost lights(mesh lights in general), Mesh Grabber and D-force companion(finaly got them re-installed), and now Dreamlight...my go to lighting source on everything. 50% of the time I am getting the black corners in the eyes of Genesis 8.1. Yes I can fix it...but I don't need "fix it" to be part of a workflow. I am not new to Daz, but not very experienced either, and I can't find any info on rolling back versions, if it can be done at all. I am not sure. If anyone could shed some light for me, I would be greatly appreiciative. Even a point in the right directrion would be helpfull. Thank You!

There are several threads asking the same thing, all with the same answer. If you save your install files, you can install an older version. If not, you need to request the older version from DAZ support. Your reasons for wanting to roll back are my reasons for not updating since 4.15. I suggest you look for some of those threads right here for more information.

[EDIT] Apologies - the threads requesting older versions may have been merged or deleted because I was sure I had seen several but now they seem scarce.

Yeah these changes are really breaking I feel. I was enticed by 4.20 at first, but now I think I'll just gonna stick with this version for a while. And it's not like it renders 20% faster or something like that.

If you haven't saved the installation files yourself, the only option is to ask DAZ for them. Based on the answers others have received, I wouldn't hold my breath...

if they won't send you a link to an earlier version, I can only suggest submitting tickets for every product using ghost lights

What issues are you having with Mesh Grabber and dForce Companion (I haven't seen reports of issues, and am not aware of changes that would affect them) and with "Dreamlight" (I assume you mean some specific products)? Kindred Arts is updating the Ghost Lights products, though I don't know if that will be free or when it will appear. The eye issue should be fixed if you update the Starter essentials, as far as I know - there was an update very recently.

Sorry, there wasn't an issue with Mesh Grabber and D-force companion themselves, they just did not get moved when I updated. I just went back into my purchased products and re-downloaded them. And the Dreamlight product I use almost all the time is Quick Iray Outdoor Presets. I really, really like them, and just about everything Dreamlight does, that is why I was bummed with the eye issue, but I will try and see if there was an update from after I updated. I know there will always be bugs, and programs do have to evolve. I should have kept a backup. I know better. I just have a bad habit of always thinking every update will bring "new and exciting things", and I jump the gun a bit.

I should think there is a fair chance the dreamlight product is using some kind of ghost light effect.
