Saving and reopening a scene

When I save a scene, close DAZ, and open the scene, why does it not appear exactly as it was when I saved it>

What kind of differences are you seeing?

The perspective of the scene has changed.

You are looking at the scene through the perspective view instead of 'real' camera.

Position of perspective view is not saved

If you create a new camera when you have a view you like you can then expand the dialogue to show additional options, including copying the active viewport. Be aware, however, that changes you make to cameras get added to the undo stack so using a camera while posing can be frustrating as any attempt to undo chnages to pose/shape/materials will step back through any camera movements you made while assessing the action you are undoing.

Make a camera and look through that before saving.
