Trying to fbx a character with fibermesh hair, getting a fail with a log file I can't make sense of. The hair is 'Real Short Hair' and does have a hip for both cap and hair.
Any guidance would be appreciated

what are you trying to export it to?
I know for iClone I had to do it as a prop (obj) and attach to figure in iClone as file was too big otherwise, that hair very high poly
You got me, that was the goal. Any tricks to getting the fibermesh obj hair to fit properly in iClone?
Well if you hide the figure and export the obj fitted not hidden, it should be the right shape to attach
it may take a while to export in 3dx5 though
I often with such items need to force it after a while by using task manager making it bring up export window by closing but that can go two ways, work or close, if you get the save before closing window pick yes obviously then cancel the windows one before exporting.
