This is what I just found:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SiteJabber
https://www.sitejabber.com/
You opted in to receive those emails when you clicked the "leave Feedback" button on one of your orders.
They appear to be some kind of customer experience evaluation service meant for businesses.
aka, you tell them how your experience went, sitejabber compiles a plan to better the experience and submits it to Daz.

btw, the sitejabber comment that really got me was the lady that was convinced that Daz Studio was used to cheat at minecraft.
So the quality of the data points is certainly questionable at best :)
edit: It was actually roblox and not minecraft
Thanks for the links MattyManx, the thought of 2nd or 3rd parties having my email/data really P*** me off!
The only thing I've notice is the NEW Daz BLACK Invoice page has been updated with multi-colored text/boxes, which I thought was just loads of bells and whistles - hence I didn't pay attention. All you want to do is purchase your order, download from DIM and play!
I wish DAZ informed US of this new system, so on my next order I have to now read the small print.
LOL.....funny! but I get it, with all the hackings and scams happening globally. Daz should have informed us of their intention, instead of just doing it.

Actually, no we didn't. After receiving 2 such letters, haven't received any more.
I got mine after I clicked the feedback button on one of my order confirmation screens.
I've not gotten anything since then.
I hadn't gotten anything prior to that either that I'm aware of.
You are getting them without doing anything? Completely unsolicited?
I have, a few times, clicked on the feedback link on the order confirmation screens, and right away gave feedback.
The 2 Sitejabber emails I got, were unsolited surprizes that showed up in my emails. One I answered. The 2nd one, I decided not too ... but rather was concerned as I wasn't sure who they were or why they were knowing what my orders were, etc. The 2nd one referred to an order I don't think I had even replied on the confirmation screen about. Not sure. I make numerous small orders. Seems to me one letter was referring to an order I had already given a feedback for, the other one not.
At any rate, there was an unsubsribe link ... and considering I know for sure I had never subscribed for these, decided to ask in the forums. Now this all may be on the up and up, but it's not quite the way it should have been handled IMHO. I now tend to ignore most of what's on the confirmation pages save for the order details.
