Has anybody happened to come across a leather cuff bracelet...something like this?
It's to use on G8M...needs to be detailed enough to hold up to scrutiny on a rather close-up piece.

I know they have lots of cuffs similar to that and then some at Renderotica, but I can't link that here and I believe they also have free one's at Renderosity freestuff section, probably in the store as well. I'm pretty sure there are some as part of outfits here in the store, but off the top of my head I can't recall which outfits. You could try SickleYield's store.

No, I have that. I'm looking for more of a half-bracer.
I figured, but those all have like bondage loops and whatnot. This is for medieval fantasy, so I'm not looking for o-rings on stuff. I'm looking for like a half-bracer.

Nope...I have a bunch of outfits with stuff like that. It covers too much of the forearm for what I'm wanting to do. It's specifically for this wip...a bracer that covers the full forearm is too distracting, so I was hoping for more of a "leather cuff bracelet" size which would be around the wrist area because I do think he needs to have something there. It's not an armored clothing scene...it's a "downtime clothing for badass warriors" scene...
Note -this is very much still a wip...still working on a lot of things (ignore orange burnt areas, that's from a geoshell).

Both are too big. I do not want to cover the entire forearm. It's not meant to be a piece of armor, but a wide bracelet...like the leather cuff Johnny Depp is wearing here -
Yes, something like that but there needs to be enough to it to hold up under close scrutiny...i.e. stitching and laces or buckles.
yes, I once owned something similar to mount a watch on which I did, was handmade from a leather crafts stall at a market
Yeah, I had a watch mounted on one too, tho it's not quite as wide as what I'm looking for since it's for my girl wrist...and obviously I don't want a watch on it for the purposes of my artwork, lol.

Yes, I have that one and that is currently an option that I'm trying in the scene. It's sadly not as detailed as I'd like, but so far there isn't much else.
This holds up to scrutiny (Esha product), but is not pure medieval bracer. The many leather options are customizable and stack-offsetted with morphs so you can move as you need. Will pass I think enough as Medieval. Improvised I guess.

I love that outfit Lissa, thanks for pointing that out and now have it wishlisted, and I think you might have found what she is looking for, it's about the right size, texture looks good and could pass scrutiny in a close up.
Do you plan on finishing that, cause I really like it and I have some really good textures that would work on it.
I don't know. I think it depends on the definition of finishing.
I have made some adjustment, but nothing that have changed it overall. Modelling a proper buckle actually requires some time, as it add many details. So for now it is just a magic bracelet

There is a product called "G8 Leather Cuffs V1" on a NSFW 3D store. Send a PM if you would like the link as I guess it is not allowed to post in in the forums. Or just google it, should appear with the first results. Looks a little similar to the bracelet once you may get rid if the added rings.

My first thought was to make it a parented prop, but I realised that it is to dependant on the character, so it is conforming.
Wendy's links to those clothings gave me an idea to maybe model a simpler buckle, so I might try to look into that.
